    • Detailed Itinerary

Day 1 – October 5th (SUN) 2025: Arrival to Mexico City
Arrival into Mexico City onto UA1065 at 09:10pm Overnight in Mexico City. (D)
** Restaurant closes at 23hrs, in case of further delay we will move dinner in a banquet room**

Day 2, October 6th (MON) Shrine of Our Lady and Historic Center
After breakfast we will stop at the Plaza of Three Cultures, which symbolizes the fusion of pre-Hispanic and Spanish roots into the Mexican mestizo identity. Tis plaza displays the architectural legacy of three cultural facets: the Aztec pyramids of Tlatelolco, the 17th-century Spanish Temple of Santiago Tlatelolco where St. Juan Diego was baptized and the modern tower that houses the University Cultural Center. Next, we will visit the Shrine of our Lady of Guadalupe, Patroness of the Americas. This church has become one of the most important pilgrimage sites for Catholics, and its history dates back to 1531, when a devout, poor Indian man named Juan Diego (an Aztec convert to Christianity) received a vision of the Virgin Mary on Tepeyac Hill near what is now Mexico City. We will have a day full of spiritual experiences: kneel in front of the centuries old Tilma where Our Lady's image was miraculously printed, celebrate our private Mass, visit the Old Basilica, the Chapel of the Indians and the Chapel of the Well. After lunch, we will continue to the Historical Center and visit the Metropolitan Cathedral located on the Zocalo, the main square. Inside you will visit the Chapel of the Miraculous Cross of Poison. Originally made of white marble, the cross miraculously turned black from absorbing poison placed on it intended to kill the bishop who traditionally kissed the feet of the cross every day after mass. We will see the National Palace (from outside). This extraordinary palace has been occupied by the ruling class of Mexico since the Aztec Empire’s rule. Dinner and overnight at the hotel in Mexico City. (BB, D)

Day 3, October7th (TUE) 2025: BLESSED CONCHITA AND XOCHIMILCO
After breakfast, we travel to the Church of San José del Altillo to see the crypt where Blessed Conchita Cabrera is buried. Here we celebrate Mass. We will continue to the “Floating Gardens” of Xochimilco. Boat-ride along the channels on a colorfully decorated “trajinera”, while listening to festive music. Picnic. Lunch is included on board. On our sightseeing tour we will visit: the Cathedral dedicated to the Immaculate Conception, a treasure of colonial art, the Church of St. Dominic to admire the Chapel of Our Lady of the Rosary built in 1690. This is an outstanding example of Mexican Baroque, with dazzling use of gilded stucco and onyx stonework. The Church of St. Francis of Assisi, where you will view the incorrupt body of St. Sebastian of Aparicio. You will have time for shopping at the local Parian market with its colorful, glazed pottery and in the “street of sweets” famous for the sweet delicatesses of Puebla. Around 4pm we will return to Mexico City. Dinner and overnight at your Hotel. (BB,D)

Picnic. Almuerzo incluido a bordo.
