Detailed Itinerary

Day 1 – Monday, July 27, 2026: Tuckahoe → Auriesville, NY 
We depart from the Parish of Immaculate Conception / Assumption of Our Lady in Tuckahoe, NY (53 Winter Hill Rd., Tuckahoe, NY 10707), where a 56-passenger motor coach and driver will meet us for full-day use. We travel to Auriesville, NY with activities carried out as per our own schedule, followed by lunch and dinner (1–2 course with non-alcoholic beverage), and overnight at the Hampton Inn Albany Wolf Road, 10 Ulenski Drive, Albany, NY 12205 or similar.

Day 2 – Tuesday, July 28, 2026: Auriesville - Valley Forge, PA (Via Philadelphia) 
After breakfast at the hotel, we continue with a 56-passenger coach for full-day use, traveling from Auriesville to Valley Forge, PA via Philadelphia. In the afternoon, we enjoy a city tour of Philadelphia with a private guide, including the possibility (depending on availability) of visiting the shrine at St. John Neumann, noting that the museum and gift shop may be closed, along with viewing the Liberty Bell and entrance to Independence Hall. Lunch will include a Philly cheesesteak or similar, followed by dinner (1–2 course with non-alcoholic beverage), and overnight at the Holiday Inn Lansdale, 1750 Sumneytown Pike, Kulpsville, PA 19443.

Day 3 – Wednesday, July 29, 2026: Valley Forge → Gettysburg, PA 
Following breakfast at the hotel, we travel by 56-passenger coach for full-day use and participate in a private guided tour with a licensed guide at Valley Forge before transferring to Gettysburg. Lunch includes a tour of the Fruit Belt, offering exploration of farming and Gettysburg’s summer landscape as a “Welcome to Gettysburg,” followed by dinner (1–2 course with non-alcoholic beverage), and overnight at the Best Western Gettysburg, 301 Steinwehr Ave, Gettysburg, PA 17325 or similar.

Day 4 – Thursday, July 30, 2026: Gettysburg → Emmitsburg, MD (Day Trip) → Return 
After breakfast at the hotel, we depart by 56-passenger coach for a day trip from Gettysburg to Emmitsburg, MD, with activities and visits carried out as per our own schedule. The day includes lunch and dinner (1–2 course with non-alcoholic beverage), returning for overnight at the Best Western Gettysburg, 301 Steinwehr Ave, Gettysburg, PA 17325 or similar.

Day 5 – Friday, July 31, 2026: Gettysburg (Full Day) 
Following breakfast at the hotel, we continue with a 56-passenger coach for full-day use and enjoy a private guided tour at the Gettysburg Battlefield, including access to the visitor’s center and museum. The day includes lunch and dinner (1–2 course with non-alcoholic beverage), with overnight again at the Best Western Gettysburg, 301 Steinwehr Ave, Gettysburg, PA 17325 or similar.

Day 6 – Saturday, August 1, 2026: Gettysburg → Washington, DC 
After breakfast at the hotel, we travel by 56-passenger coach for full-day use, transferring from Gettysburg to Washington, DC, with activities and visits as per our own schedule. In the afternoon, we have a self-guided visit to the Smithsonian National Museum of American History or the National Archives depending on availability, followed by lunch and dinner (1–2 course with non-alcoholic beverage), and overnight at The Arlington Court Suites, 1200 N Courthouse Rd, Arlington, VA 22201 or similar.

Day 7 – Sunday, August 2, 2026: Washington, DC 
Following breakfast at the hotel, we use the 56-passenger coach for a full day in Washington, DC, including a private guided tour of the National Mall (approximately 4 hours), exploring monuments and memorials by foot and motor coach, with views of the White House from either the Great Lawn or Pennsylvania Avenue. The tour may be focused around the 250-year celebration or another theme chosen by us. We take a group photo near the Capitol Building and visit “The People’s House,” an interactive exhibition exploring life in the White House. Lunch and dinner (1–2 course with non-alcoholic beverage) are included, with overnight at The Arlington Court Suites, 1200 N Courthouse Rd, Arlington, VA 22201 or similar.

Day 8 – Monday, August 3, 2026: Washington DC Basilica Day 
After breakfast at the hotel, we continue with a 56-passenger coach for full-day use, visiting and touring the Basilica of the National Shrine of the Immaculate Conception and the Saint John Paul II National Shrine. Lunch or a boxed lunch is provided depending on timing, followed by dinner (1–2 course with non-alcoholic beverage), and overnight at The Arlington Court Suites, 1200 N Courthouse Rd, Arlington, VA 22201 or similar. We may have free time in the afternoon, with access to the coach throughout the day, and optional time for museum visits or areas such as District Wharf or Georgetown.

Day 9 – Tuesday, August 4, 2026: Washington, DC 
Following breakfast at the hotel, we have a 56-passenger coach and private guide/coordinator for full-day service, including a tour of George Washington’s Mount Vernon, exploring the estate, mansion (subject to availability), historic outbuildings, tombs, gardens, and visitor center and museum. In the afternoon, we visit Arlington National Cemetery and/or Historic Alexandria, with highlights including the John F. Kennedy gravesite, Tomb of the Unknown Soldier, Arlington House, Marine Corps War Memorial, and Coast Guard Memorial, or alternatively exploring Alexandria’s cobblestone streets, boutiques, and cafés. Lunch and dinner (1–2 course with non-alcoholic beverage) are included, with overnight at The Arlington Court Suites, 1200 N Courthouse Rd, Arlington, VA 22201 or similar.

Day 10 – Wednesday, August 5, 2026: Washington, DC 
After breakfast at the hotel, we continue with a 56-passenger coach for full-day use, visiting the Franciscan Shrine of the Holy Land for a self-guided tour (with a guided tour possible depending on final number of guests and availability), followed by a visit to Hillwood Estate Museum & Garden with lunch, allowing time to explore the grounds. The day continues with a guided tour of the Capitol Building led by Capitol tour guides, followed by dinner (1–2 course with non-alcoholic beverage), and overnight at The Arlington Court Suites, 1200 N Courthouse Rd, Arlington, VA 22201 or similar.

Day 11 – Thursday, August 6, 2026: Washington, DC 
Following breakfast at the hotel, we use the 56-passenger coach for full-day use, visiting the Museum of the Bible for a self-guided tour (approximately 2.5–3 hours). The afternoon includes free time, with the coach dropping us at the National Mall for access to museums and picking us up at a pre-arranged time for return to the hotel. Lunch is on our own and not included. The evening features a farewell dinner at an upscale restaurant, dinner cruise, or similar depending on availability, with overnight at The Arlington Court Suites, 1200 N Courthouse Rd, Arlington, VA 22201 or similar.

Day 12 – Friday, August 7, 2026: 
After breakfast at the hotel, we have use of the 56-passenger coach for the day, with morning prayer and activities or visits as per our own schedule, followed by lunch. We depart from Washington, DC at approximately 10:00 AM for transfer back to New York, with the latest drop-off scheduled for 5:00 PM.
