Day 1 October 15th, 2024 (Tuesday): Barcelona arrival
Day 2, October 16th, 2024 (Wednesday): Barcelona arrival •
Upon arrival to Barcelona Airport we will be met by our English-speaking representative and accompanied to our comfortable coach. • Transfer to the hotel for check in • Today evening we gather together at our hotel for welcome dinner. • Overnight at the hotel in Barcelona. (D)
Day 3, October 17th, 2024 (Thursday): Barcelona •
Breakfast at the hotel • This morning, visit Parc Güell (entrance fee included), see Montjuih Hill, the Gothic Quarter with its magnificent cathedral, the Church of Santa Maria del Mar, the Palau de la Generalitat, the Town Hall, the Plaza Real, Avenue Paseo de Garcia, and Las Ramblas. • Some time at leisure for lunch, before an informal concert at La Sagrada Familia (entrance fee included) • Present an informal concert at La Sagrada Familia (subject to confirmation - waiting for answer). • Return to the hotel for dinner • Overnight at the hotel in Barcelona (B, D)
Day 4, October 18th, 2024 (Friday): Barcelona – Montserrat - Zaragoza •
Breakfast at the hotel and check out • Visit the Basilica of Our Lady of the Pillar, built to honor Our Lady’s appearance to St. James. • Continue to the Abbey of Montserrat (reservation fee included) • Venerate the "miracle-working" statue of the Madonna and Child, known as La Moreneta. • Present a choral offering to Our Lady of Montserrat (subject to confirmation) • Continue to Zaragoza • Dinner and overnight at the hotel in Zaragoza (B, D)
Day 5, October 19th, 2024 (Saturday): Zaragoza - Segovia – Madrid •
Breakfast at the hotel and check out • Leave Zaragoza for Segovia. • Visit Vera Cruz Church and the Alcazár fortress (entrance fee included) • Continue to Madrid • Dinner at the hotel • Overnight at the hotel in Madrid (B, D)
Day 6, October 20th, 2024 (Sunday): Madrid •
Breakfast at the hotel • Embark on a city tour of Madrid, including Puerta del Sol, the fountains of Neptune and Cibeles, Alcala Gate, Gran Via, Plaza de Espana, the Royal Palace and the Prado Museum. • Sung Mass at the Basilica of St. Michael (subject to confirmation) • Enjoy a festive dinner with live entertainment and Flamenco dancing. • Overnight at the hotel in Madrid (B, D)
Day 7, October 21st, 2024 (Monday): Madrid - Escorial - Avila •
Breakfast at the hotel and check out • Continue to the Royal Monastery of San Lorenzo de El Escorial (entrance fee included) and the Valley of the Fallen in Madrid. • Present an informal concert in El Escorial (subject to confirmation - waiting for answers) • Continue to Ávila, the birthplace of St. Teresa. • Visit the Royal Monastery of the Incarnation (entrance fee included), where St. Teresa lived as a Carmelite for 30 years. • Celebrate Mass in the Chapel of the Transverberation (subject to confirmation) • Dinner at the hotel • Overnight at the hotel in Avila (B, D)
Day 8, October 22nd, 2024 (Tuesday): Avila – Salamance – Fatima •
Breakfast at the hotel and check out • Leave Avila for Salamanca and enjoy a guided city tour. • Visit the Convent of the Annunciation in Alba de Tormes (entrance fee included), founded by St Teresa of Ávila. • Celebrate Mass at the Convent of the Annunciation (subject to confirmation) • Go to Fátima • Dinner at the hotel • Overnight at the hotel in Fatima (B, D)
Day 9, October 23rd, 2024 (Wednesday): Fatima •
Breakfast at the hotel • Sung Mass at the Basilica of Our Lady of the Rosary of Fátima (subject to confirmation) • Take a guided tour of Cova da Iria, including the prayer area, basilica, Colonnades, and Most Holy Trinity Church. Visit Aljustrel to see the homes of the children, and Valinhos where the Blessed Mother appeared to comfort and direct them. • Participate in the evening rosary and candlelight procession. • Dinner at the hotel • Overnight at the hotel in Fatima (B, D)
Day 10, October 24th, 2024 (Thursday): Fatima – Lisbon •
Breakfast at the hotel and check out • Go to Lisbon. • Enjoy an orientation tour of Portugal’s capital city, including Lisbon Cathedral, the Monastery of St. Jerome, and the Belem Quarter. • Celebrate Mass at the Church of St. Anthony • Dinner and overnight at the hotel
Day 11, October 25th, 2024 (Friday): Flight back home •
